Virtual Learning Labs provides a range of solutions for your classroom that can revolutionize the way your students learn. MiRTLE provides a virtual annex to your existing traditional classroom, displayed on a large wallboard at the rear of your classroom. Remote students can login to the annex and are represented as avatars, they are then visible to local students and to the teacher. MiRTLE also provides high fidelity spatial audio so that present students are able to hear their remote counterparts and thus the teacher is able to see and hear all present and remote students. A webcam and echo-cancelling microphone mounted in the classroom completes the installation, enabling remote students to see and hear the teacher and present students.

In addition to a view of the classroom provided by the webcam, remote students are provided with a view of the screen of the teachers PC, thus providing them with a clear view of the materials being used in the classroom.
